Curtain Rod Clip-On Decorative Metal Clips, Drapery Dress Up, Set of Six, Blue Purple and Gold 1930s to 1940s

You just don’t see these clip-on ornaments meant to add some class and sass to the flat formed white or gold flat curtain rods that I grew up with in the 1950s. You may even have these rods now as they are an inexpensive way to hang curtains. I assume they went on the rod between drapery panels to cover the rod and actually overlap the drapes themselves. They were die cut and stamped to emboss them and air brush painted with enamel. 7” long and 2” at the widest point. Repaint to match your drapes or keep them in their original somewhat shabby condition. One of these is rusty. You can also use these by cutting the clips off and soldering on hooks to make them pullbacks. (#148AHAV 7-23-18/E M53Q 7-20-18)
