German Nodder Dolls, Native American Girls, Bisque Dolls 1930s

These two charming "nodders" were made between the Wars in Germany and are cold painted on a bisque ceramic. Their clothing and feathers represent native American girls. The larger girl is holding the remnants of a feather and the small holds a fabric flower. The smaller girl is in very nice condition and the larger one's red cold painted enamel is quite worn. They need to be restrung with some elastic cord. About 3.5" and about 2.75" high with no cracks or chips. (#93 AHAV 10-9-17)
