This sliding book holder would be great for holding several books on a desk or table.  It is made of cast iron with a patinated brass finish by the Judd Manufacturing Co. in the first quarter of the 20th Century.  The ends feature a fruit arrangement suspended from a swag held aloft by two putti.The ends are 6-inches wide by 4.5-inches high  with spacing between the ends a minimal 8-inches and a maximum of about 14-inches.  The ends are in very good condition with no breaks and minimal finish blemishes.  The photos show a shot of each end and if you zoom in you can easily see for yourself. A nice addition to a desk or workspace for yourself or as a gift for someone special. NOTE:  Books are photo props and are not included. (5-31-16)
