The grocer was instructed to mark the retail price per pound in the circle and then fold this item to create a scoop for the fresh cranberries ready for sale.  Cape Cod's harvest of cranberries takes place in the Autumn so there are plenty of these very tart native berries for Thanksgiving and Christmas.  The scoop also has suggestions as to how to cook and bake with them.  A patent was applied for this nifty scoop but we couldn't find any patent numbers.  The graphics on the outside are cream, navy blue and red, the other side was all red and probably waxed to enhance the color of the berries and to keep the scoop drier and to lessen staining. Flat dimensions are 10" long by 8.25" at its widest point.  (6-11-16)
