Parker "51" Vacumatic in Black with 1/10 14kt Gold-filled Cap, Fine Gold Nib, Restored and Ready to Use

$145.00

A nice Parker "51" vacumatic that has been disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and put back into operating condition with a new diaphragm. The pen fills as it should and is ready for use again. The barrel is marked at the clutch ring "Parker "51" .4.", indicating it was made in mid 1944. It is a single jewel pen with a cap jewel, the jewel has some slight dings from drawer wear. The cap has a pattern of pairs of straight lines alternating with pairs of wavy lines, a cap I haven't seen before. The clip has a blue diamond above the vertical "Parker". The pen has a fine gold nib and the filler is the plastic or "war time" version. The pen is in good condition with only very light wear. The cap has slight brassing of the clip ring under the jewel and as seen in the close up photos a few minor dings. It has been water tested and fills as it should. Always happy to answer questions or supply more photos. AHAV 277/(P1A010321)

Mount Desert Light Station (Lighthouse) Maine Antique Pictorial Porcelain Pitcher Made in Germany

$69.99

For the New England Lighthouse collector here is a cream pitcher about 4 inches high. Please note the older terminology of Light Station. The first light station was built in 1830 and the second light was built in 1847. The keeper’s house was built in 1892 and only a devotee will know if the image on this before or after that construction. This light station is both farther offshore and more exposed than any other on the east coast. And still it persists! The shape and texture is victorian and the Germany mark dates it before WWI. In nice shape with just a bit of wear to the gold. (#265 AHAV/ E C258 i 8-16-20)

A very sweet looking bunny eating a carrot that doesn't look fierce at all! I believe it is from the 1980s. 4.75" tall to the tippity top of its pointy ears. In very nice vintage condition.            (#103AHAV 12-26-17)

This unusual inkwell came home with me because I just couldn't resist the great styling, even though it has a some chips. The design carries through out, from the hinged cover and body and is set off by the black glass base.the closed height is about 3 1/2" and the length about 4 1/2". The macro photos show the bumps life has thrown at this inkwell. Always happy to answer questions or supply more photos. AHAV #260.

This compass was made in Australia in 1941. I know it belonged to an American serving in the Pacific in WW II but don't know the Australian/US link. It has a black coating over the brass, and although there are some losses it is good condition for the age. The compass works and locks as it should. It has a leather carrying case made in Brisbane, Australia which is in good condition except for the strap that keeps it closed which has broken. The photos should answer most questions. Always happy to answer questions, supply more photos, or quote international shipping. (C1C020321
